"You were bigger than the sky, you were more than just a short time" features the works of seven artists, including Sally J Han, Nam Kim, Sahana Ramakrishnan, Ming Wang, Caroline Wong, Justin Yoon, and Rachel Youn. 

Curated by Ashik and Koshik Zaman, the exhibition explores the resurgence of figurative painting in recent years and its impact on non-white and diasporic painters. The works range from oil, acrylic, and oil pastel on canvas to sculptures and installations made of found objects. 

The exhibition takes its title from a line in Taylor Swift's recent album and reflects on claiming space and changing the face of the local art scene.
