In May 2018 we will open a new art park in Strängnäs. We are convinced that art and culture is important for a societie’s development and resilience. This is why we open the park and this is why we aim to make it as accessible as possible.
The park is built upon steep rocks close to lake Mälaren in Strängnäs. It is a beautiful area but not very accessible. By the support from Allmänna arvsfonden and Sparbanksstiftelsen Rekarne we have built a wooden path over the rocks that makes the site accessible for everyone. Along the path we will create an exhibition together with some of the Swedens finest contemporary artists.
In the Sneak Peak at Multeum in Strängnäs we will give a hint of what the park will be and present the participating artists.
