For years, gallery CAESUUR from Netherland have shown ‘poetry on the window’: poems by video projections in the dark months during the transition of the year in December – January.
From December 11, 2021, CAESUUR will resume the tradition. With more or less the same idea: bringing light into the street. But this time CAESUUR uses the image instead of the word.
CAESUUR kicks off with one short film of each ‘board member’. They invited those artists who They like to show their film(s) on their window.
Studio44 from Stockholm is participating in 4 longer video projects about ‘responding.’ made by 5 of the members, Madeleine Aleman, Masoud Shahsarari,, Rikard Fåhraeus, Laetitia Deschamps, Jannike Brantås together and in collaboration with Chinese colleagues, Lei Yan, Luo Fei, Xue Tao, Zi Bai.
Studio44 in turn shows video works on their four windows in Stockholm by 4 artists from CAESUUR: Jorieke Rottier, Giel Louws, Dani Ploeger and Hans Overvliet
The joint series will run until 7th January.
