Kristianstad is perhaps not the first go-to-city for international art lovers when visiting Sweden. Let’s just accept that turists are going here for other reasons. But the past months a lot of these art lovers have actually come here. Much thanks to some popular summer shows. Not least because of the popular Wanås Art which is located a few miles north of Kristiansand. In december you will also have an excuse to visit the town of Kristianstad as Kristianstad Konsthall is turning 15 years. The museum that is located next to Regionmuseet has over the years been able to showcase artworks by famous artists such as Nathalie Djurberg, Leif Elggren, Jens Fänge and Andreas Eriksson. To celebrate this the museum will summarizes the 66 exhibitions they have had though the years in a in a group show with start on December 8.
