With a working process based upon experiments around material and their different quality’s, Liva Isakson Lundin creates spatial installations where tension, weight and balance is of great importance.
Using material such as latex, gelatin and strip steel she lets the quality of the material and it’s relation to the room define the final form of the work. Despite the fact that the works are still they radiate strong movement and tension. Through the use of material, size and form the pieces must be describes as very bodily and the viewer is attracted to touch and feel the works.
