The gallery is proud to present a group exhibition Camouflage by Luke Stettner, Carmen Winant & Ofer Wolberger. Camouflage holds different, even contradictory, logics across biology, war, and culture; the artists in this exhibition have created work to reflect that preternatural status.
Stettner’s photographs are drawn from the newspapers’ headlines on globalised violence, conflict and undoing.
Wolberger’s black and white paintings are inspired by different mass-distributed magazines and old pamphlets, the text is confused as image and result in cryptic canvases which might be mistaken for abstractions.
Winant’s ceramic vases and mirrored text drawings are informed by the gendered rituals of invisibility and concealment.
