Artist Lars Gösta “LG” Lundberg had his first solo exhibition 51 years ago. He has since exhibited throughout Sweden and Europe and in 2014 he was nominated for the prestigious Carnegie Art Award.
Lundberg is perhaps best known for his iconic fence paintings. For a period of 6 years in the 70s, he devoted himself to painting only fences.
Different from his fences, his current show with Galleri Thomassen presents paintings from recent years, including his contribution to the Carnegie Art Award 2014 as well as new paintings prompted by his newly acquired interest in Prins Eugén.
