Want to know who the next Swedish art star is? Ask the jury behind the Becker Art Scholarship.
Jenny Lindén Urnes, Marten Castenfors and Magnus Jensner. Since 1987 Becker Art Scholarship have proven a remarkable ability to identify young talent on the verge of breakthrough - and this year they are celebrating 30 years. The celebration will be reported in an anniversary exhibition where all the past winners will be exhibited together with this year's winner, Anna Camner. Each scholarship awarded a cash prize, which this year has been increased from 150,000 to 200,000 kronor, and a solo exhibition since 2001, organized in collaboration with Färgfabriken.
