100 % KAMP – SVERIGES HISTORIA

The exhibition '100 % kamp – Sveriges historia' tells a story about people that fight for the right to live life to the fullest in a more equal Swedish society. Through themes such as the right to your own body, the right to the everyday, and reactions against rights, various rights struggles, both historical and contemporary, are portrayed; the fight to live, work, and love on equal terms, regardless of disabilities, sexual orientation, religion, sex, and origin. The exhibition sheds light on what the lack of rights can affect people's lives. '100 % kamp – Sveriges historia' treats the fundamental implications of rights for a democratic society, and examines what happens when rights that are taken for granted, suggesting that rights have not arisen by themselves but rather through the actions and fights of people. The exhibition opens up for those who work for equal rights to vote, the right to live at home, and the right to decide over one's own body. Different paragons in the fight for our rights are presented. Could it be anyone? You and I?
