It is a sunny warm day and the water is so clear you can see a group of spotted eagle rays swimming below the surface. They are probably out to find a bite to eat a small fish or a crustacean. If you get in the water and swim with them they are harmless and may even slow down to help you catch up with them. The rays are considered near threatened on the IUCN Red List.
The media is acrylic on silver strokemetal applied on a deepedged canvas. The technique qives a remarkable luster and the painting changes as it catches different angles of light.
