By means of various techniques I have used my fixation with horror, waste, wildwood, insects and traditional craft to create a mythology around the relationship between culture and nature. I use cultural definitions, symbol values and more specific narratives associated with different materials, in order to challenge preconceptions attached to certain objects. This approach results in components of a new story about nature and civilization; how these concepts have grown together and created a third alternative – which in turn reveals the need and possibility to allows us to observe mankind from a different point of view.
