Jesper Molin

Jesper Molin graduated from his photography studies in 2003 att Fotoskolan Studium, Gothenburg Sweden. Since then, he has carried out and exhibited numerous art projects that have also been documented in books and magasines. Jesper Molin make pictures and art because he simply must and primarily for himself. Societal norms and existential questions often come back in his work. He is fascinated and inspired by the boundary between what is considered male or female in society. How we are governed by fixed norms and gridded pattern. In his art, he always works with staged photography, that is, he builds, directs and creates the entire image from idea to finished image. Often with strictly graphical and controlled imagery. He is represented in a few European countries and has been published in several major art magazines in Sweden and also internationally.
