Om Artby Artby is an independent Scandinavian art brand. We offer premium art prints in limited editions. All made for the selective ones - the art lovers, the tastemakers, the fashionistas, the newborn collectors, and the established yet still curious art buyers. Artby was established 2018 as a response to the traditionally exclusive and excluding art market. We wanted to embrace the market’s preference for exclusivity, high quality and originality. We also wanted to open up the art market, and make room for new dazzling artists, new hungry art buyers and new picky art collectors. By appropriating a logic from the fashion industry we found a balance between being exclusive and being welcoming: we turned ourselves into an art brand that - in parallel with fashion companies and premium fashion brands - combines serial production with unique qualities, collaborates with carefully selected creatives, controls the full production process, and launches curated collections on a vibrant and quality aware lifestyle market Each year we launch three separate collections with premium art prints in limited editions, exclusively sold under the Artby brand. We also offer a few special editions outside the collections, these editions are particularly delicate artworks, made for particularly delicate tastes. All original Artby art prints are high quality giclée-prints, produced on heavyweight paper with high density pigments. The editions are numbered, approved by artist and quality assured one by one. Our artists are golden: we collaborate with carefully selected, head turning artists from Scandinavia - up and coming as well as mid/late career artists. These artists are handpicked in dialogue with our advisory board, consisting of internationally renowned artists and art specialists Artby was founded by Karl Hardell and Sara Hardell Flagge. Apart from sharing a passion for contemporary art, we are interested in juxtaposing heterogeneity with unity: we search for diversity and strong artistic individuality, we also look for a coherent, strictly curated product line - wild and polished at the same time
