Sara-Vide Ericson

Sara-Vide Ericson was born in 1983 in the small town of Bollnäs in Hälsingland, where also she lives and works today. She studied at the Royal University College of Fine Arts in Stockholm, and drew up a lot of attention for her graduation show She Wolf at Gallery Mejan in 2008. The collaboration with Galleri Magnus Karlsson started with a solo presentation, Ride, for MARKET art fair in Stockholm (2010). She has since had two major exhibitions, Liar (2010) and While Unconscious (2012) and a smaller, The Basement Drawings (2013), at the gallery. In the autumn of 2014, she had her first exhibition at the Danish V1 Gallery in Copenhagen and in 2015 began a collaboration with the New York gallery Albertz Benda where she participated in two group shows Empire of Senseless (2015) and Like-ness (2016). She has also exhibited at museums and art galleries in Sweden and internationally.
