Swedish Association for Art (SAK) is proud to present the exhibition "Till konsten – Landskap i ovissa tider", featuring 120 works of art by 21 contemporary artists working in Sweden, a slice of the contemporary art scene in Sweden. All works in the exhibition are part of the annual art raffle, taking place on 21 November. The first prize is “Seashell tears” by Lotta Antonsson.
Simultaneously SAK also presents "Shapeshifters" with Eric Magassa and Karin Sahlin, in Tengbomhallen.
The exhibition is the only opportunity to see the SAK commission work for 2019, “Landscapes of Uncertain Times (Landskap i ovissa tider)” by Nisrine Boukhari, a series of 100 individual art works, where the artists approaches the motif of landscape through changes in climate and in the aftermath of the war in Syria.
The exhibition runs 3-6 October. Open Thursday-Friday 11 am - 5 pm, Saturday-Sunday 12 noon - 4 pm. Galleri Öst, Royal Academy of Fine Arts, Fredsgatan 12/Jakobsgatan 27 C (lift), Stockholm Admission free.
