Pinar Yoldas, born 1979 in Turkey, is a cross-disciplinary artist and researcher. A trained architect, she is currently finishing her PhD in Media Arts and Science at Duke University in the US. One of the three installations she presents features a giant pink neon sign, reading Global Warming, radiating heat onto a white stage. An instruction video plays and mats and towels are available for anyone who wants to participate. This show aims to investigate the ways in which today’s society interacts with biological and ecological systems. The gallery offers a wide range of talks and seminars relating to issues raised in the show.
