Khatir is a British artist who moved to Sala when her husband was offered a job there. This is the first presentation of her works in Sweden. On display are about thirty new watercolours in relatively small format, partly due to the lmitied studio space she currently has at Täljstenen, the local cultural hub . Her colourful abstract paintings have sharp edges and are high in contrast. A recurrent form is a loop in the shape of a wave. Khatir is a trained artist and teacher and she will give lessons in drawing this autumn in her new home town.
