Kamrade introduces Kamrade Lab!
Kamarade Lab is a series of exhibitions following the concept: one artist, one work. The intention of Kamarade Lab is to provide a context for artists to experiment and try new ideas.
First out is Elin Elfström whose work explore the present and urban life. In the exhibition, she presents an installation of sculptures that resemble archeological findings from our own time age. Low materials such as soda cans, old cell phones, makeup, jewelry and candles evoke notions of a dysfunctional reality and lifestyle. The gaze, suspension and darkness are essential elements for Elfström. Through reflections of her own emotional states in the material she uses, she tries to understand herself and her contemporary period.
The exhibition is shown on agreement until December 8th.
