Renowned wild life photographer Nick Brandt returns to East Africa to photograph major transformations in the area. He gives an account of escalating devastation in the natural world. This series of works taken during his travels through the African continent integrates his own images of animals with artificial landscapes devoid of animal life. A life-sized image of a lion is placed overlooking a quarry and a gracious giraffe stands next to a machine crane. These panoramic images convey a double message, that our legacy may only be dust, but at the same time there is space for a different outcome.
