Elin Stampe
Born 1992 in Stockholm, Sweden. I finished my Bachelor in Textiles at Konstfack University of Arts, Crafts and Design 2017.
Transformation, perception and interaction are recurring themes in my installations and in my three-dimensional work. I take interest in the small and large things of our existence, the body language of our everyday routines as well as the metamorphoses of nature. My method is to work explorative and intuitive in the process, where my hand is in constant dialog with the material I work with. The textile material plays the role of a catalyser to find new shapes and expressions. Movement and rhythm are guiding words in both process and final result and I work actively towards the room for a more physical experience.
