Welcome to a lunch seminar about Improvised theatre with Jenny Elfving. Jenny is teaching Swedish at the Center for Modern Languages. She also works as an actor/improviser and gives classes in improvised theatre.
Improvised theatre – an introduction:
Improvised Theatre, or improv, is theatre without a script. Through spontaneity, fantasy and teamwork we create scenes and stories in front of a live audience. But improv can also be so much more! Today, improv is a popular tool for:
• teaching and education
• strengthening team spirit and improve creativity in workplaces
• working with stage fright and social anxiety
I have worked with improvised theatre for more than 10 years, and I would like to share some thoughts and experiences with you, and let you try some fun and easy improv-exercises.
Date: Tue 29 January
Time: 12.00 – 13.00
Place: Terrassrummet, Holländargatan 32, 8th floor
This seminar will be held in English/Swedish depending on participant preference.
A light sandwich lunch will be provided. This seminar is open to members and non-members.
